Dear Mr. Peabody
i have traveled to the year 1730 and am now in the new world and the french/first nations are fighting and i aim to find out why. see you in a few years.
it is now the year 1740 the french and first nations are still fighting and i think in know why its because France because involved in a long-standing conflict between its fur trade allies and the Haudenosaunee. during this war the Haudenosaunee gained support from the dutch then latter the British who used conflict to challenge the french for domination of the fur trade. the Haudenosaunee defeated a key French ally the Ouendat in 1649 this removed the Ouendat as the middle man for the fur trade the Anishinbe and the French solders forced the Haudenosaunee to seek a truce.
- Ouendat
- Mi'kmaq
- Innu
- Kichesiprini
- Haudenosaunee
